Adopt Tang Mo
Meet Tang Mo
Tang Mo (‘watermelon’ in Thai) is highly intelligent, observant, and is eager to please her keepers. She is easily identifiable as the tallest cow in the herd, featuring long legs and a high forehead.
She is developing a strong communicative connection with Permai, both girls are becoming quite “chatty” with one another and are often heard vocalising with different chirps, squeaks, rumbles, pops and trumpets.

The team
Monarto Safari Park’s dedicated Elephant Team provides round-the-clock, specialised care to ensure every member of the herd thrives physically, mentally, and emotionally.
By taking their lead from the elephants, our keepers allow trust to build naturally, remaining flexible as herd dynamics evolve.
Through tailored nutrition plans, daily health checks, and engaging enrichment, elephant welfare is at the core of everything they do.
Working within the elephant's expansive 12-hectare precinct which features interconnected habitats, allows the team to give the elephants freedom of choice, supporting natural behaviours like foraging, swimming, dust bathing, and socialising.
